Reporting an error
At **ExamNoticeHub**, we try to keep recruitment, examination and academic information accurate, clear and connected to the relevant official source.
However, government departments, recruitment boards, commissions, universities and examination authorities may update information after an earlier notice has been published. In some cases, an error may also occur while information is being collected, organised or summarised.
If you believe that any information published on ExamNoticeHub is incorrect, outdated, incomplete or linked to the wrong source, you can report it to us.
Please send your correction request to the support email provided on our **Contact Us** page.
To help us review the issue properly, please include:
* The ExamNoticeHub page URL * The name of the examination or recruitment * The concerned department, board, commission or university * The exact information you believe is incorrect * What you believe the correct information should be * The official source supporting the correction * A direct link to the official notice, corrigendum or portal, where available * Any other detail that may help us understand the issue
For example, if you believe an application deadline is incorrect, please provide the official notice or corrigendum showing the revised deadline.
Similarly, if a vacancy number, fee, eligibility condition, result status or application link has changed, sharing the latest official source helps us verify the correction more quickly.
We strongly prefer correction requests supported by an official source.
Information from social media posts, messaging groups, unofficial blogs, coaching websites or other secondary sources may help us identify a possible issue, but such sources are not normally treated as final authority for making an important correction.
If an official notice is available, that notice should be provided whenever possible.
Review process
Every genuine correction request is reviewed against the latest information available from the concerned official authority.
Depending on the issue, we may compare the reported information with:
* The latest official advertisement * A corrigendum * A revised notification * An official recruitment portal * An examination authority website * An official university page * A result portal * An admit card page * An official application page * Other verified information published by the concerned authority
Our aim is to determine whether the information currently shown on ExamNoticeHub still matches the latest official position.
A correction is made when the available official evidence clearly supports the change.
We do not automatically change information simply because a user reports that it is wrong.
The reported issue first needs to be checked against an appropriate source.
This is important because recruitment and examination information is often circulated through unofficial channels before the concerned authority publishes a formal clarification.
For example, a message shared on social media may claim that an examination has been postponed, but unless the recruiting authority publishes an official notice, it may be unsafe to present that claim as confirmed information.
In such situations, we prefer to wait for reliable confirmation.
If official evidence supports the reported correction, we may update the page to reflect the latest information.
If the available source does not support the requested change, the existing information may remain unchanged.
If the information cannot be confirmed either way, it may be marked as unavailable, pending or awaiting verification rather than being guessed.
How corrections are handled
The way a correction is applied depends on the type of information involved.
Some errors can be corrected directly without affecting the overall meaning of a page.
Examples may include:
* A spelling mistake * An incorrect label * A broken official link * A formatting issue * An incorrectly displayed date * A missing official source link
Other corrections may significantly affect a candidate's understanding of a recruitment or examination.
These are treated as more important because users may rely on them when making decisions.
Examples include:
* Revised application deadlines * Changes in vacancy numbers * Revised application fees * Changes in eligibility * Updated examination dates * Application link changes * Admit card release status * Answer key updates * Revised result information * Changes to the selection process
When an important change is confirmed, we aim to update the relevant information while keeping it connected to the correct recruitment or examination record.
Material corrections
We consider a correction to be material when it could reasonably affect a candidate's decision, eligibility, application, payment or understanding of an examination or recruitment.
Material corrections may include changes involving:
* Application start dates * Application closing dates * Deadline extensions * Total vacancies * Category-wise vacancies * Application fees * Age limits * Educational qualifications * Experience requirements * Reservation conditions * Examination schedules * Admit card status * Answer key status * Result status * Merit list information * Official application links * Important selection-stage information
When official evidence confirms a material change, we aim to update it promptly.
Where possible, the corrected information remains connected to the related examination or recruitment timeline so that users can understand how the information changed over time.
For example, if an application deadline was originally 10 September and the concerned authority later extends it to 20 September, the updated timeline may reflect that a deadline extension was officially published.
This is more useful than simply replacing the old date without any context.
Similarly, if a vacancy total is revised through a corrigendum, the newer verified figure may be displayed while the related correction remains associated with the recruitment record.
Corrections to dates and deadlines
Dates are particularly important in recruitment and examination information.
If an official authority changes a deadline, examination date, admit card date or other important schedule, we try to reflect the latest verified date after checking the official source.
Candidates should still verify critical deadlines directly from the official portal before taking action.
This is especially important close to an application closing time because official portals may change schedules or experience technical problems.
ExamNoticeHub should be used as a convenient information service, while the official authority remains the final source.
Corrections to vacancies and eligibility
Vacancy totals and eligibility requirements may sometimes change after an initial notification.
An authority may:
* Increase vacancies * Reduce vacancies * Revise category-wise distribution * Modify age limits * Change qualification requirements * Add experience conditions * Issue a clarification about eligibility
We do not estimate these changes.
The relevant information is updated only when supported by a reliable official notice or portal.
If a vacancy total is missing or uncertain, it may remain unavailable until a verified source becomes available.
Similarly, we do not assume that a candidate is eligible simply because a general qualification appears similar to the requirement.
Final eligibility is always determined by the concerned recruiting authority.
Corrections to links
Official websites sometimes change their page structure or move recruitment content to a new URL.
As a result, an application, PDF, admit card or result link that worked earlier may later stop working.
If you report a broken link, we may check whether:
* The official page has moved * A new official link has been published * The portal is temporarily unavailable * The notice has been removed * The department has changed its website structure
If an appropriate replacement link can be verified, the page may be updated.
We do not replace a broken official link with an unofficial alternative simply to keep a button active.
If only the main board or department website is currently available, the page may identify that source accordingly.
Source outages
Government, recruitment and examination websites may sometimes become temporarily unavailable.
This can happen because of:
* Heavy traffic * Scheduled maintenance * Server problems * Network failures * Website upgrades * Technical changes * Temporary outages
When an official source cannot be reached, information that was previously verified may continue to remain visible as a **verified cache**.
A verified cache means that the information was successfully checked against the official source during an earlier scan or verification.
It does not mean the information has been newly confirmed while the source is unavailable.
This distinction is important.
We do not treat a temporary source outage as permission to invent or estimate new information.
If an official website is unavailable and a new fact cannot be verified, we may:
* Keep the last verified information visible * Mark the source as temporarily unavailable * Leave the new field blank * Show the information as pending * Wait for the official website to become available again
We do not replace unavailable facts with estimated dates, assumed fees, guessed vacancy totals or unofficial claims.
Once the official source becomes accessible again, it can be checked for changes.
No guessing during outages
Accuracy is more important than making every page appear complete.
If the official source is unavailable and a detail cannot be confirmed, we prefer to leave it unavailable instead of filling the gap with an assumption.
For example, we will not normally estimate:
* A result date * An admit card date * A final vacancy number * A revised application fee * A new eligibility condition * An extended deadline
unless the concerned authority has provided sufficient official information.
This approach helps reduce the risk of candidates acting on unsupported information.
Previously verified information
Some official websites remove older notices, restructure pages or temporarily disable access to past records.
In those situations, previously verified information may still have value for users following the timeline of a recruitment.
Where appropriate, ExamNoticeHub may continue to display previously verified information even when the original source is temporarily unavailable.
However, if later official evidence shows that the information has changed, the newer verified information should take priority.
We aim to preserve useful context without presenting outdated information as current when a confirmed revision exists.
User-submitted corrections
We appreciate users who take the time to report genuine errors.
Candidate feedback can help identify:
* Broken links * Missed corrigenda * Revised deadlines * Changed examination dates * Updated vacancy numbers * Incorrect labels * Result updates * Source problems
However, user-submitted information is treated as a report that requires verification.
It is not automatically treated as confirmed fact.
Where possible, please include the exact official source when submitting a correction.
This helps us review the issue more efficiently and reduces the chance of introducing another error.
Our correction principle
Our correction process follows a simple principle:
**Check the source, correct confirmed errors and do not guess when evidence is unavailable.**
We aim to keep important information connected to the original authority and to update material changes when reliable evidence becomes available.
When there is uncertainty, we prefer transparency over assumption.
Candidates should always remember that the concerned official department, board, commission, university or examination authority remains the final authority for recruitment and examination information.
